• hey you, i wouldnt want to say that germans are more educated or deeper than americans, believe me we are all children of the western society, but nevertheless my brother visited the us on a high school exchange program, or whatever, and he certainly had an easy time compared to our school, which by the way didnt have such high standards for a german gymnasium (highschool) and then it even ended one year prematurely, dont get me wrong, he definitely liked the stay, but he also criticised that the us society was kind of brainwashed into believing the us is the one and all (pledge to the flag, and what not), this actually happens to lots of people who never leave home, they simply display a lack of experience, thinking their home is the best...
