General info please!

• I live in the South of England. My house is middle class. It has a car park at the front and the garden at the back is pretty and covers about half of a hectare. The house itself is app 200/sqm. Please tell me what taxes you would pay in Germany for ownership of such a property.
  We pay the second highest taxable rate of £2200/yr for this property. It is known as council tax. It includes most of the services except water and elec. My water charges are £570/yr and I pay a monthly charge of £100 for my electricity. So, you can see that this is not cheap. Please give me good honest information of the running costs of your homes.
  In Britain, each council sets its own rates. So they can vary from place to place. Although, I doubt that the differences are huge. If you would like to shed some light on this issue, I would be very grateful.
