Your friends are allussional. White or black in Sourh african are not so different. You may have unfortunate situation whereby you meet a sick black person or a sick white person. White people in South are still in very high positions and are still going to stay like that for a very long time. There is no such a thing as favouring blacks over whites in schools. Schools are for everybody there now. anyway in my opinion you will never have any proper answer here until you go there and find out yourself with out all the crap i read in this forum.
