The best thing to do is apply for a job from Australia. IT also depends what kind of work you want to do, which state you want to work in and what your qualifications are. Any language skills in German, French or Italian are a plus. If you are going to the German side of Switzerland please be aware that the most lucrative sectors for employment are IT, Finance, Accounting, Insurance, and Pharmaceutical and Engineering industries.
