• I was able to bring in my mother here in the UK on a visit visa for 6 mos.
  You could probably mention that you will be fully paying for all their travel and all expenses whilst in the Uk and get rid of the bank statement requirement from your parents. That would mean you will be the only one who will be providing those details.
