Assalamu Alaikom, Congratulation!
I myself was also married to a saudi, as my experience, it wasnt easy to apply a visa for me as his wife. I am his only wife, and he was denied many times. Some arab also asked money from him promise to help him getting my visa, but all of them was just lying and run away his money. He was denied many times, due to his age ( he was just 26 ) that time. We got married in our country in an Islamic wedding to avoid commiting sin, means our marriage wasnt legal under Saudi Government. After nine years of waiting, Alhamdulillah, someone helped him, but of course he paid loads of money jut to get me.
After the certification released from the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Manila, we filed our marriage contract at the local civil registrar in our country and brought back all our Authenticated marriage contract from NSO to the saudi embassy.
And thats all, after stamping my visa to my passport, i was then recognized as a wife of a saudi national.
I am here in Saudi happily living with my husband, and we have 2 kids.
Just be patient and be strong, if your hubby knew someone from the royal family, then it will be easy for him to apply for a visa. This what happen to one of our kababayan also, she just waited for 2 months, and bingo! shes here with her husband now.Len 18 Jun 2009, 02:05 - Report
