stepone nusery school is seeking for a native english speakers to work as a class teachers

Class Teacher Knowledge Skills and Experience:

Degree and post graduate teaching qualification or Teaching Diploma (equivalent to Bachelor Degree) from a recognized college/university. (Prefer in early years education).
3-5 years related experience for appropriate level.
Native English Speaker or Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
First aid certificate.
Key Tasks and Results: 1. Teach English language, Math and science in an assigned curriculum subject area. Teach other areas when required.2. Assist supervisor to prepare, develop, implement and evaluate yearly curriculum to fulfill program, grade, or subject objectives and standards. Adhere to schedule.3. Update curriculum as appropriate to student comprehension. Develop progressive instructional techniques. Keep current on teaching techniques. Consider INSET (In Service Training) requirements.4. Co-ordinate curriculum with other teachers to ensure progression, development and consistency.5. Prepare curriculum files and documents for reference of supervisors to record progress.6. Assign class work, prepare presentations, prepare independent study guides for students on long leaves of absence, monitor attendance, prepare/mark exams, and supervise activities in common areas (e.g. gym or playground).7. Meet parents to discuss student progress.8. Provide pastoral care to, and discipline of, students.9. Organize/participate in assemblies, extra-curricular social and sporting activities.

Problem Solving:
1. Determine best/appropriate teaching methods.2. Contact with parents and specialists.
Supervision/Decision Making Authority:
1. Regular review and evaluation from supervisor.2. Follows accepted standards and techniques.3. May provide work direction to auxiliary staff.
