you must keep an open mind. Once you arrive you may find that the exact position that reflects what you have done in the past does not exist and that you need to adjust.
My recommendation is to get some experience in Canada. So do not be too picky with your first job salary wise. If you find something slightly lower than in your home country, the plus side is that you will have Canadian experience and employers will take somebody with Canadian experience (whatever experience) 100 times faster than somebody without it.
