  I have been on the hunt for apartments in Florence as well. My husband and I are will be traveling to Florence this winter. I always try Craigslist for apartments but this time I got lucky doing a search on studentsville.it and we are 28/30 so it's not just for college students. The apartment I found is pretty reasonable, 900euro for a huge loft on Borgo Ognissanti which is a great area. I could send you the link to the site and the man's name that is helping us, he may be able to point you in the right direction. Good Luck!
