experienced fun loving English teacher

I'm very excited about relocating to Dubai. I've lived and taught English in Taiwan for the past five years, with my students ranging in age from PreSchool up to adults employed by the computer industry. Most importantly, I feel quite confident to handle most any teaching challenge. For some time, my moving experiences have taught me to quickly adjust to different environments and cultures. In addition, all the fun and sense of accomplishment I've had teaching kids makes all the jobs I've had in the U.S. look quite boring!

Accomplishments: Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Information Systems, TESOL certificate, 5 years in Taiwan adjusting to a culture that can be VERY DIFFERENT from U.S. culture.

Goals: I am ready to take on different K1 – K12 positions that are more challenging. I am sure the Dubai area parents are quite demanding in expecting obvious results from the children’s scholastic endeavors. I look forward to enhancing my already polished skill of assessing a child’s academic level and quickly developing ways to improve their skills in learning.

Hobbies: traveling, internet surfing, exercise and socializing
