dont know what to do

• well ive read quite a bit on working in germany, and the reason im coming here is because my girlfriend of 2 years is here. i came here with the entent of getting a self employment visa in my feild and contracting myself out. i havnt got the self employment visa yet as i have only been here a week, however, i have been offered a job in the same feild of work. should i still get the self employment visa, or should i try to just get a work permit, which is more benificial for me?
