how long does take a family visit visa?

• umair says that i have also submitted my application in 20 jan 2009,in uk embassy.But still my status is not appearing.So many times i hav called British Embassy ,they said your application is still in process,but i m much worried about my original documents bcoz they hav.I think British embassy should responsible for this,why they don’t making the decesions.so plz tell me what r the updates in UK Embassy Islamabad about the waiting coustomers.thanks reply me on my E-mail id [email removed]
