visa for wife

• Hi folks,
  
  I would be happy if one could share with me his/her valuable experience regarding this problem. I am an iranian single man with a 3 year work permit in germany. I have just started 2 months ago here. I will be marrying with my wife(also iranian) who is in Iran now on june. Can i get a residence permit for her? Please note that the marriage happens after i got my residence permit and so i am concerend if this would be an issues(cuz i had heard that you can only get visa for ur wife if you married before you got the residence permit).

  she will have a visa as your companior, but without permit to work or to earn money in Germany
