maternity and unpaid leave

• hi i am shortly to become a new mum as a working expat in Abu Dhabi for an airline company.
  
  i heard that i get 45 days maternity leave but that any unpaid leave will not be granted and i will be fired!!! is this true as i used to live in qatar and my friends there were given unpaid leave for up to 3 months. after that, they were asked to leave. please help - this is stressing me out!!!!
