Study or guest visa? Or a permit?

  • Hello.
I need an advice in a quite complicated quiestion.
First of all, I am not from EU.
I have a boyfriend in Switzerland and i want to be with him.
At the same time i want to study german language in Zuerich school for some time (to reach certain level i need around one year).

So, the question is: what type of visa should i have - student or guest, or a permit to be able to live there not less than 1 year. Is it possible, for example, to get a student visa and to live in my boyfriend's appartment. Will it be considered (by the authorities) that i confuse the purpose of coming.

    Thank you in advance.

  • visitor visum the best for u

ok but the point is if you want to study in Switzerland you have to aply a study visum, and that will not acepted if you are caming to study german, because is not a official study. The most normal will be that u get a invitation visum from your BF and if u dont have enougth money so he must to send a letter to u too saying he is responsable for ur staying and and paying for all, you will get a visum for max 3month and in this while if u decided u can married here in swiss, so then you afther this will get a permision B, to live to study even work here.(ONLY IF YOU MARRIE HIM) the school cost aprox for month 1000francos, about $1200 so expensive yeahh!! but is a school called Alemania schule in zurich, This one is very cheap, i was there and i pay 360 to 400 francos per month avery day mon-Fr 2.30h. so sorry baby, but is the only way that you can come here and study, if u are aready finish some carrier (medicin, marketing...etc) you can aply for a study visum for a master for example, but u must o have the contact aready WITH THE UNIVERSTAD if u will study in english,i guess. (u CANT say i will make my master in german, but frist i have to leanr german, u must to do it in a lenguage that u already speak and write, u will have a test for it) and you have to show WHO is going to pay this study, is very spensive, so i guess even ur bf will not pay that, because even them not make a maSter. So as i said aply a visitor visum and theN u can go in a scholl for german, that is not a problem u dont need a study visum for study german. i SUGEST U get some study of german in ur contry because u can have some idea when they teach u here the german so u will save money.god luck.
