Update: Changes to Canada Immigration - nupad.ca
-
As of Sept. 1, the majority of Canadian immigration applications for
permanent residence under the Federal Skilled Worker and Business Class
immigration initiatives are to be entered via the new 'Simplified
Appclaiton Process,' a Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) notice
announced on July 12.
Lengthy application lines at every Immigration Canadian Visa Office are
causing processing time delays. The CIC has finally realized this delay
and has installed the new streamlined procedure in an effort to hurry
processing times.
Instead of submitting the complicated set of forms and documents now
mandated during initial application, the streamlined application
procedure will mandate skilled employee and business class applicants
to just present an amended basic Application form, the Use of
Representative form, and government processing costs. Any additional
documentation sent to the Immigration Canadian Visa Office will be sent
back to the applicant until it is asked for.
If the application is approved, processing costs save applications a
place in the line. Applicants are not to get in touch with the
Immigration Canadian Visa Office unless they wish to remove themselves
from the procedure or have a mailing address change.
Documentation and extra information mandates will stay the same as the
previous system, but they will not be mandated until the file has
arrived at the end of the line and is ready to be considered, around
four months later.
