Difficult even for Swiss themselves

• It is difficult even for Swiss people like me to make any new friends. My compatriots just are very opinionated, so they only judge books by their covers. It's just some kind of convenience to treat other people in a condescending manner, and even though I grew up and lived here for 25 years (before moving abroad) I can't explain it.
  
  Being arrogant probably makes them feel better about themselves? They're very OBSESSED with superiority and inferiority and constantly overrate their importance (as can be seen in this forum). But Switzerland just isn't that great. It's nice, but it's lame. Zurich just isn't an exciting city. It has some "post card beauty" to it, but Zurichians are not outgoing or creative or particularly interesting people. And if you don't accept their self-imposed superiority and flatter their ego, you will not get along very well with them.
  
  To make friends and share the fun with other people you have to go somewhere else.
