What is it?

• I agree with 'come on guys' that every country has it good bits and bad bits and terribly annoying bits that foreigners just don't get, but there is something about Switzerland that gets under peoples skins so badly. Just look at this whole website for example. This site has areas for every European country and as far as I can see, Switzerland is the only country that has this amount of topics about how much people dislike the place and the people and each of those topics is very busy. Even that in itself I think is very telling
  
  There's just something about the bad aspects of Switzerland that really really grate on people. I think it's because Switzerland doesn't seem to have many redeming features to make up for its negatives. For example in southern European countries, they're completely disorganised, nothing works properly etc, but on the other hand you have great food, friendly people who like to socialise and have a good time - it balances out. Switzerland just kicks you in the crotch and leaves you lying on the ground. There's absolutely no pickmeup after you've been kicked
