Husband's parents

• I am a british citizen and I married a pakistani guy who has been living here for the last 5 years. He is an only child and wants his father to come and join us in the UK. I don't particularly get on with his father and don't really want him to come and stay in the UK permanetely. Once my husband has permanent stay will he be able to call his father without my approval/consent?
