Question on residence permit for baby

• Hello,
  
  My wife and I are currently living in Germany and have valid residence permits. We are expecting a baby girl by the end of march : ), and we were wondering if we can get her residence permit within germany, or if we will be required to travel to one of our home countries to apply for her permit there. We are from Peru and Panama.
