• An opportunity has been created by this small but rapidly expanding on-line gaming company. They are seeking a highly experienced Informix DBA. You will be required to have extensive experience and knowledge of managing Informix databases in Informix Workgroup & Enterprise V9.xx and Linux Clustered Database Servers environments. Your responsibilities will include:- Creation and setup of Informix instances, Pro-active monitoring and database optimisation, Development and creation robust backup strategies, Creation of disaster recovery databases - Informix HDR, Ad-hoc Shell scripting, Data Reporting. Also exposure to the following is required:- Windows Server 2000/2003, MS SQL 2000 including T-SQL, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence & Data Analysis, Storage Area Networks.
