Getting your visa

My company applied a saudi business visa for a client in USA. His visa was granted and he can get it from the Saudi consulate. But he wont be able to travel to receive his visa due to other commitments. Is there any way our client can get his visa from the consulate? Can he send his passport and a copy of the visa number by courier to the consulate?
