Free Kindergarden????
-
Hi,
We will move to Holland within 1 year more or less. We have a baby and we need to look for a kindergarden. I was wondering how it works in the Netherlands. Is it true public kindergardens are free? and schools?
Thx

free kindergarden? Neee....
Hi,
Kindergarden is really expensive and it is difficult to inscribe your child because the waiting lists are very long. Once you have paid you get tax reductions according to what you have paid along the year and to your income.
Schools are free but children can only start at he age of 4.
children are very often looked after by babysitters (oppas)

How much... by the way
Really? ... How much does it cost the kindergarden? In Spain is around 400 euros/month... Can it be worse in Holland? ...
