Public Transport in Kuwait???

• Hi, I will be travelling next month to Kuwait (Maboulha). I will not have access to a car but I would like to be able to move around and go to the centre, Corniche and all the recreation areas... Can someone please offer information about the best way of doing it and if so where to find timetables etc.... I am aware of taxi services but I am concerned about the price as the distances between neighbourhoods seem rather large. Thanks!!!
