    Personal Statement
    I am a very enthusiastic person, and am always striving for a new challenge. I am also extremely organised, and like to keep things tidy and punctual, this has been demonstrated well throughout my education by always meeting deadlines and being punctual for class, it has also been demonstrated throughout my employment, whereby I have been a loyal, reliable employee for a number of companies.
    I have analytical skills through working closely with designers throughout my degree at Northumbria University, I have had experience in analysing and advising them on how they could modify and improve their designs.
    My interest then led onto planning where my true passion lies now.

    27/05/2008 – Present – NRG PLC Group
    Part Time and Full Time Office Work (Various Roles)
    Job Role/Responsibiities
    While working for NRG I have been placed in various administration roles for companies/organisations including Newcastle College and South Tyneside Council. My jobs included updating databases and spreadsheets, filing documents, answering phones, typing letters, photocopying etc.
    This has given me the experience of working within various office environments.

    14/04/2008 – 17/10/2008 – Planning Permissions
    Part Time Planning Administrator (Temporary role)
    Job Role/Responsibiities
    This role was working from home, co-ordinating the administrative side of planning applications and appeals, processing site assessments, planning applications and appeals. Timetable application and appeal documents, and communicate with and sometimes instruct architects and other consultants and chase them to produce their work on time if necessary.
    I respond to requests for additional information from clients, Councils, and the Planning Inspectorate.

    Job Role/Responsibilities
    My job entailed meeting and greeting customers, seeing them to their table and then serving them food and drink. My role included table service, which has given me the chance to have a personal experience with customers, and in turn has increased my customer service skills.
    I was responsible for closing the restaurant part of the pub at the end of each shift.

    My job here was to serve customers food and drinks.
    I also dealt with customer complaints, took bookings for children’s parties and organised setting those up on the day as part of a team or working alone.
    Learning about new promotions or offers was also part of this job.

    Interests and Activities
    Travelling - I have travelled to many locations all over the world including New York, Los Angeles and South Africa. While visiting these places I enjoy looking at the architecture and cultures, as well as meeting new people and making new friends.
    Keeping fit – I try to keep fit as much as possible, and have always been an active person. I enjoy visiting the gym or going swimming in my spare time.
