Bringing Mom along

  • I am an Indian with a Work Permit in Ontario, Canada. I am planning to get my Mom visit me in the due course from India.
Is it possible to show the financial status of the son, so as to support her canadian Tourist visa claims.

it should be pretty straight forward. I suggest you give your mom a letter indicating the following and addressed to the Consulate where she is requesting the visa:

    Attn Canadian Consul/Ambassador in XYZ

This letter is given to support the tourist visa application of my mother Mrs. X Y Z, who will be visiting me in the following days.

I am a Canadian landed immigrant since xx/xx/xxxx (provide copies of your landing documents) and would respectfully request your attention to her tourist visa application.

you should also provide copies of your birth certificate, so they know the woman in question is your mother.

good luck and welcome to canada

what 's your satus in canada ?
Are you A permanet resident or you have only a work permit visa?
If you have the second status i don't think that you are ilegible to sponsor your mother visa for here.
