Seguros (insurances) - which ones are recommended?

  I'm from Holland and I've just moved to Spain because they offered me a job to work here for at least 4 years.
  
  Beside the 'Seguridad Social', I was wondering if there are any people that have a third part insurance (seguro de responsabilidad civil) or a legal aid insurance(seguro de asistencia juridica).
  
  I get the idea that the spanish people don't have ány insurance. Is it because they are very expensive? And if not, can anyone tell me where I can get the best insurances?
  
  Furthermore, I really would like a good travelinsurance, but the ones I've found on de internet are very very very expensive. Any tips?
