  I have spent a while reading the entire topic and OMG, it drives me crazy.....I felt like I need to add something here.
  
  To all Brits: Lemme know if you personally feel like you are a racists? To my knowledge, you pretend to be a racist but that is not from your heart. I have many english men as friends and they told me pretty good facts of how english men are. English of indians is never a factor I guess coz I know brits give next first preference to chineese and they cannot speak good english as well. May be you have some other reasons. And kindly, never under estimate an Indian and put em down without judging. Think from your heart, how many indians you have seen are not good to you??? May be you can count them on our fingers. But if the same question is asked to an Indian?? ' May be he need to borrow fingers of many of his friends '.... That makes him start posting this kinda topics. Try to have an indian as your friend and you will find him one of your best friends.
  
  To all the Indians:
  Well, Past is past and U and I cannot do a useful thing, thinking of the history of British and India ( Can you get back our Kohinoor diamond that was brought(looted)?? You and I cannot. So stop thinking the shit and let us think what is making the difference.
  I personally feel like each and every indian is to be taught some useful stuff before giving the VISA. I work for Burger king as a Till operator and I have learnt a lot of manners from the customers.They add a word 'please' or 'thank you' after each and every work and I see them teaching the same to their children. Just try to use the same words when ever you are speaking to english men and observe the reply before and after.
  Also, we indians should stop thinking that brits are superior and this is the main reason that leads them to put you down. Brits are normal human beings jus like us except for the change in the color. Stop thinking this way and honestly speaking, you are more than superior keeping in mind, many reasons.
  Try to be a man with some humour and I bet this should gain you lot of friends and interest in you. I have got many white friends and they visit my flat and I pay visit to their flats as well and we booze, have nice fun. It all depends on the way you are. All that matters is you start speaking, try getting to know their interests and speak about their interests. Why the hell wont someone like you then?????

  Most Indians I see have extremely good jobs and/or successful businesses. Can speak better and clearer English than most of the lout chav scumbags that seem to be in every corner of the British Isles these days and are usually very honest and decent people. Most Pakistanis on the other hand are the complete opposite, not all granted but certainly a large enough ratio. Many cannot be understood/understand or even so far as cant speak hardly any English at all, which begs the question how they contribute to the society they are living in. Rip off the system, all have a council property but live in one house and rent the others out illegally to students, run a shit taxi service along with a multitude of takeaways selling food prepared in conditions that even a rat would turn its nose up at. Dont clean teeth or practice any kind of basic hygiene and disposal of rubbish consists of simply turfing it out all over the street, YES, I have driven around Rand Place and Mannigham Lane in Bradford, its the same story where ever Pakistanis like that live. That is NOT being a racist, that is acknowledging a straight forward fact. I respect anyone who respects others and respects themselves, Indians get my thumbs up, Pakistanis in the main do not.

  Just to clarify. I am a white British Male.
  
  I happen to think that Indians are amongst the most respectful, courtious, well mannered and educated people in the UK. They work hard to get on in life.
  
  There is far too much narrow-mindedness in Britain.
  
  The Hindu's love life and family, the sikhs are strong and respectful and overall they all have a desire to improve things. They don't go to the pub and get totally trollied every weekend, they don't istigate riots and fights (but as we saw in Bradford they will fight back) and they don't get involved in religious arguments.
  
  i think that people often confuse Indians with the growing tiny minority of radical muslims within the UK. This is wrong, that is not the Indians.
  I for one am totally behind our British Indians.

  There's less racism in the uk than in the US or Australia. I was born in Kenya and have a White mum so I'm half cast. I am married to an Australian girl and 90% of my friends are white. Does this sound like a racist country to you? Intact the uk is one of the few countries that takes racism seriously, you can actually get arrested for being racist here, in the US or Australia the police would probably laugh. But there are a few racist people like the BNP who you never really come accross or notice because they are normally the lower society who knowbody takes any notice of or cares about anyway. They normally are people with lower IQs and a poor academic background with a chip on their shoulder because they are lower class and can't accept their doctor is an Indian earning 20 times their salary.
