• Which are the most recommended portals to buy airplane tickets? What are the guarantees if the travel gets screwed up by the airline? Do you really need travel insurance?

  You can pay with Canadian Dollars for your travel.
  
  Regarding the guarantees, the expedia or any other website will clearly outline them. If you buy your ticket in Ontario, it is a good idea to use the
  TICO - Travel Industry Council Of Ontario (www.tico.on.ca/) as a reference.
  
  As per travel insurance, well that depends on you!
