Travel Checks in US$ in Canada

• Hi, I am going to Canada in December for holidays and I need to know if Canadian merchants accept travelers checks in US$

  They accept them. Be prepared to:
  1- get an erratic and likely always disfavorable exchange rate
  2- show your passport all the time you use them
